“Diary of an Artist in Love” by The Muse Frequency, Narrated by The Muse Frequency #BookReview

Georgia Kostopoulou

Love is one of the most beautiful feelings one could experience. It brings forward strong emotions and it reveals our true selves. When someone is in love, they see a brighter world through their sunny eyes. All birds sing melodically, the scenery is always colorful and every face they see is smiling. And this is exactly the takeaway from this poetic experience. I’m talking about an experience, because it’s not only an audiobook I got to listen to. The artist was the narrator as well and she gave her heart and soul in this project.

The book is a collection of 30 poems. Fifteen of them are titled as “Love is”, starting from I and moving up to XV, and talk about how love is interpreted by the poet, which in most cases, if not all, is also how love is interpreted by the reader or listener, if you prefer. The other fifteen poems progress through time and the evolution of a romantic relationship, with which many listeners will probably connect.

While listening to this audiobook, I felt as if it was coming through my own feelings, through my own experiences, as if it was meant for me. And that made the experience even better. The fact that this audiobook is narrated in an ASMR way, is one more reason to love it. You can put your headphones on, light a candle, close your eyes and feel like you’re floating in the clouds, while listening to this beautiful piece of art. It’s so atmospheric, the best choice for a meditative experience, either you’re in love or not.

I was happy to see that the audiobook came with an accompanying pdf, the printed version of the book, which was actually stunning. The drawings are amazing and fit so well with the poems and the story that is told. Overall, this was more than a wonderful experience for me! It is certainly a book I’ll listen again and again in the days to come.

Thank you to Bookinfluencers.com and The Muse Frequency for a copy of this audiobook. The views expressed are my personal and honest opinion.
